Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
1. Do I have access to the Internet?
Yes, there is wi-fi. The reception is best in the living room dining room area. I have carried out skype calls there without any problem. Several of my clients have used the wi-fi to work while visiting.
2. Do I have to rent a car?
No, you don't have to. My apartment is an easy walk to the old town -15/20 minutes uphill. People of all ages, from 7 to 70 have stayed there and have enjoyed walking everywhere. There is a bus within walking distance that allows you to reach the train station. Again, several clients have used this bus. The train allows you to go to Rome in 1 h 45 min, Assisi, Spello and Perugia. The property manager can also help you call a taxi. Car rental can also be arranged; it can be useful to have a car for a few days to visit out of the way places.
3. Can I hike nearby?
Yes. This is one of the reasons I selected this location. Not only is it close to the old town with lots of cultural attractions, but it also has easy access to countless hikes, within 15-20 minutes ride or even walking distance. There are hiking maps in the house.
4. Is there a minimum stay?
Yes, the rule is that I rent for a minimum of a week. However, I will be willing to consider renting for a shorter period, in exceptional cases. I will charge however a min. of 5 days rental.
5. Are linens and towels provided?
Yes.
6. Am I responsible for cleaning the apartment when I leave?
Some clients chose to do so, and it is very much appreciated. However, the rental price includes cleaning upon departure.
7. Where do we buy groceries?
